Current Implant Concepts - Dean Kois

Dr. Dean E. Kois received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kois went on to specialize in Prosthodontics receiving a Certificate in Prosthodontics with a Master’s of Science degree (MSD) from the University of Washington, School of Dentistry, and then completed a 2-year surgical Implant Fellowship (FID) at New York University, College of Dentistry. His memberships to professional organizations includes the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, American College of Prosthodontists, Pacific Coast Society for Prosthodontics, Washington State Society of Prosthodontists & King County Dental Association. Dr. Kois continues to lecture nationally and internationally as well as publish extensively on various topics in dentistry. He maintains a private practice limited to restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry in Seattle. In addition, he continues to work with restorative dentists at the Kois Center, a didactic and clinical teaching program.

PRP in Implant Surgery - Raj Rajagopal

Dr. Rajagopal is currently practicing in Medford and Grants Pass. He is currently on staff at Providence Medford Medical Center and Rogue Regional Medical Center. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. His clinical interests include maxillofacial trauma, maxillofacial and dental implants, surgical pathology, orthognathic surgery, dentoalveoler surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery and bone and soft tissue grafting procedures for maxillary and mandibular reconstruction. Dr. Rajagopal is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of Healing the Children, Health Volunteers Overseas, Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Oregon Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Southern Oregon Dental Society, Oregon Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of Osseointegration.

Ceramic Implants - Kelly Blodgett

Dr. Kelly J. Blodgett is redefining the modern dental experience to one that is 100% positive! Over the past 23 years, he has created a practice recognized as an international destination for Integrative Biological Dentistry and Dental Tourism. He attracts people who seek a holistic and biological approach to their oral and whole-body health. Through his weekly Toxic Tuesday and Wellness Wednesday social media posts, Dr. Blodgett shares truths not commonly discussed in traditional dental settings. His post series illustrates his patients’ incredible journeys back to health along with providing best practices for predictable oral and systemic health.

X-Nav in Practice - Carson Kutsch

Dr. Carson Kutsch always wants what is best for his patients. In order to do this, he has pursued extensive postdoctoral training and invested in advanced technology for his practice. He has completed many hours of training at the prestigious Kois Center. Unlike most dentists, he maintains an in-house lab for creating custom dentures, so he can ensure exceptional results. He employs the latest treatment techniques, such as 3-D imaging and a computer-guided system for placing dental implants. He also uses technology to help diagnose the causes of problems, rather than just treating the symptoms. He firmly believes that a better quality of life is obtained with a proactive approach of reducing his patients’ risk for disease. Using leading-edge technology also improves the patient experience by making dental care more comfortable and minimizing the number of visits to our office. He grew up in Albany and attended George Fox University and Oregon State University before earning his doctorate at the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2005. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kutsch is married to the love of his life, Hayley. They have three kids, Keeley, Tavi, and Beckett. They also have a wonderful Bernedoodle named Zeeta. The Kutsches spend most of their free time with family and friends.

Caries/Perio Update - V. Kim Kutsch

Dr. V. Kim Kutsch completed his DMD at University of Oregon School of Dentistry in 1979. With an expertise in dental caries, he teaches dental teams how to view and successfully manage caries as a whole person disease using a Caries Risk Management approach. He has authored over 100 articles and acts as Scientific Advisor for Dental Caries at the prestigious Kois Center. He reviews for multiple journals including JADA and Compendium. Dr. Kutsch also maintains a private practice in Albany Oregon and acts as CEO of Dental Alliance Holdings.

Myofunctional Therapy - Maggie Hill

Maggie Hill has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Dance from Cal Poly Humboldt, CA and graduated from Clark College, WA with a certificate in Dental Hygiene. She has since worked with incredible dentists in the holistic/biological field for the past 10 years and recently completed Myofunctional Therapy Training with Sarah Hornsby through Myomentor.

Airway Update - Scott Neish

Scott Neish, DMD has been serving the Portland, OR area for more than 40 years. He provides the highest level of care possible to his patients through his integrative, minimally-invasive approach to diagnosis and treatment and his numerous hours of continuing education. Dr. Neish received his B.S. in mathematics at the University of Oregon in 1977 and his D.M.D. degree in 1982 from the Oregon Health & Science University. His commitment to excellence has been the driving force throughout his career and has led him to many different areas within the dental profession. He has taken extensive courses on laser dentistry, implants, and CEREC restorations as well as classes on restorative principles and techniques from the renowned Kois Center and is a long time member of the Rendezvous Masterminds study club. Dr. Neish has recently shifted his private dental practice in Beaverton, OR to research and integrative clinical care focused on breathing, sleep and facial growth and development. He is part of a multi-disciplinary network of clinicians who collaboratively treat patients at the root cause of their problems to allow them to become their best possible version of themselves.

Health & Wellness Update - Tim Harbolt

Dr. Harbolt graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University of Dentistry in 1991. He is past President of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and founded the Oregon Coalition of Minimally Invasive Dentistry Study Club. He is a Charter Member of Rendezvous and used to serve on the Rendezvous Planning Committee. Dr. Harbolt owns and operates the largest practice on the Southern Oregon Coast, Brookings Dental Group, in Brookings, Oregon. He is married to his first wife, Heidi who runs his dental practice. The two of them love to travel and go on many fishing vacations to Mexico and Alaska.

Hygiene Update - Machell Hudson

Machell Hudson, RDH, FAAOSH is the founder and CEO of Integrative Dental Coaching. She is a proud and passionate fellow and member of the prestigious board for The American Academy for Oral and Systemic Health. Carifree Cooperative member which is led by Machell’s mentor, Dr. Kim Kutsch. Her newest accolade is being invited to sit on the education committee for Women in DSO with a purpose focused on bringing education and empowerment to the forefront within the DSO space. Because of her love for patient care she continues to practice clinical hygiene while also speaking and consulting with an expertise in oral-systemic connections and protocol implementation. She is a graduate of the Bale/Doneen method preceptorship which is advanced training in arterial disease with a focus on heart attack, stroke and diabetes prevention, Kois trained in periodontal health and a health coach.  Machell cherishes time with her family and friends and a big part of her heart is spent volunteering for Unbound advocating and speaking on Human Trafficking Awareness.

3D Printing Surgical Guides - Bryan Neish

Dr. Bryan Neish is a second-generation dentist and a pacific northwest native. He developed an interest in dentistry early on watching his dad practice in Beaverton for over 40 years. Prior to completing his dental education at OHSU, Dr. Neish worked as a dental assistant and also served as a board member for the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. He values honesty and quality as well as personal connection in all aspects of his work. Dr. Neish believes that healthcare is a collaborative effort and seeks to educate people as much as possible so they can have autonomy in their decision making process. Through countless hours of continuing education, Dr. Neish has thoughtfully implemented advanced technologies and a focus on whole-body health into his clinical practice.
